Our Beneficiary is doing his 2nd year diploma in a polytechnic near Chennai.

He is the eldest among the family of 3 children. Both his younger brother and sister were studying in the government school. Grandmother of 80years old is also under this family's care. Our beneficiary is very good in his studies, as he scored 90% in 12th and got concession for his diploma fee. During our review process, we found that he is one of the top scorer in his department.

Father is working a coolie in weaving factory with no fixed salary, earns approx. Rs.500-1000 per week. They own a small house of 13x20, where all 6 members are living. Last year they took loan of Rs.10K for his college fee and still the loan is pending for re-payment. Since they don’t have any other source for this year payment, they requested to Aalayam through some referrer.

We approve Rs.2105 for his remaining diploma fees.
